Peppa Pig is a British preschool animated television series by Astley Baker Davies. Each episode is about 5 minutes long and the story revolves around Peppa and her family and friends. The show first aired on 31 May 2004. The seventh season began broadcasting on 5 March 2021. Peppa Pig has been broadcast in over 180 countries. Peppa, the protagonist of Peppa Pig, is an anthropomorphic female piglet, and each of her friends is a different kind of animal. Episodes tend to feature everyday activities such as attending playgroup, going swimming, visiting with their grandparents, cousins, and friends, going to the playground, or riding their bikes.
